ZIPWALL BARRIERS KEEP SHOPPERS DUST-FREE

WESTFIELD INDOOROOPILLY SHOPPING CENTRE IN BRISBANE'S WEST IS A HIGH-END DESTINATION FOR FASHION, QUALITY DINING, AND ENTERTAINMENT.

So when one of our valued customers Tilecorp was awarded the contract to refurbish the centre's food court, they urgently needed a temporary dust barrier system to effectively contain dust and airborne particles and ensure dust didn't escape into the food court or elsewhere.

As one of Queensland's largest commercial tiling contractors, Tilecorp needed a solution that was not only highly efficient but also very easy to put up and pull down. All Preparation Equipment swiftly recommended the ZipWall temporary dust barrier system as the ideal solution.

HIGHLY EFFECTIVE DUST CONTROL FROM ZIPWALL

The ZipWall dust barrier system is the world's fastest and most easily portable temporary dust solution. Ideal for taking control of dust and mess on a construction site, it's completely reusable and can create a barrier or an individually sealed room or enclosure in just minutes.

With the revolutionary ZipWall dust barrier system, you can:

  • Save in clean up time
  • Improve customer satisfaction
  • Encourage more customer referrals
  • Keep mess and dirt to a minimum
  • Do away with tape, ladders, and extra fittings

AN EASY WAY TO CONTROL DUST WHEN YOU'RE WORKING ONSITE

The Zipwall dust barrier system is the easiest way to contain an entire work area in minutes. Gone are the days of sticky tape and plastic sheets for dust control and dust protection!

Instead, Zipwall temporary dust protection uses spring-loaded poles to lock plastic sheeting into place with a simple twist, allowing it to be extended quickly and easily a ceiling or roof height.

As a temporary dust barrier, ZipWall is ideal for commercial or residential remodelling, restoration or remedial work, healthcare refurbishment projects, painting and floor preparation work, abatement and insulation, drywall and plaster repair and concrete restoration, or cutting, grinding and stripping.

HOW DOES THE ZIPWALL DUST BARRIER SYSTEM WORK?

Erecting your temporary dust protection couldn't be easier! Start with the pole in a collapsed position, and sandwich the plastic sheeting between the head and plate. Then snap them together to lock the plastic barrier in place.

Next, raise the plastic to the ceiling by extending the pole and lock into place with a quarter twist of the pole's upper section to keep constant pressure against the plate at the ceiling (ZipWall's ball joint attachment makes it easy to use on angular surfaces such as vaulted or cathedral ceilings or stairwells). Then, attach the plastic to the next pole and place it up to 2.5m away.

Once all the spring loaded dust barrier poles are in place, lift each one and tuck the plastic underneath to make the plastic dust barrier tight from top to bottom. ZipWall's plates are covered with a soft, non-skid, non-marking material, which not only helps prevent the pole from sliding but also protects the ceiling. For very slick surfaces such as hardwood, tiles or vinyl flooring, placing a non-skid plate under each pole can help prevent slippage.

Just like that, your temporary dust barrier is in place and protecting surrounding areas from dust and dirt - so you can get on with the job.

SUCCESSFUL DUST CONTROL USED RIGHT ACROSS AUSTRALIA

It’s easy to see why the ZipWall system is now controlling dust on job sites Australia-wide. The spring-loaded dust barrier system has been used in projects including commercial refits and makeovers, the Mater Hospital, universities, state high school renovations, and many more projects where efficient dust control was critical.

With the successful completion of the Indooroopilly Shopping Centre food court project, Tilecorp's Director Wayne said, "Your ZipWall system is awesome!" And time and time again, other contractors have said the same!
