Polishing Starter Kit – For 5" Grinder


Our Polishing Starter Kit has been put together to take the guesswork out of getting started with polished concrete and stone finishing using a handheld grinder.

Designed specifically for DIY users and small projects, this kit includes everything required to grind, refine, densify, seal, and grout small areas from start to finish. It is ideal for benchtops, vanities, stairs, repairs, feature areas, and other detailed work where a full-size machine is not practical.

Although aimed at the keen DIYer, this kit uses the same premium products we use in our Pyrafloor training courses and that we sell to contractors throughout Australia. 

By packaging the core consumables and accessories together, this kit offers a clear cost saving compared to purchasing each item individually, while ensuring all components are compatible and correctly matched for the process.

What’s included

  • 5” aluminium Velcro-backed polishing pad holder
  • 5” Honeycomb resin pads: 50, 100, 200, 400 & 800 grit
  • Diamond grinding wheels: 30 Grit Trade Wheel, 60/80 Grit Wing Wheel & 100/120 Grit Wing Wheel.
  • 8L chemical sprayer
  • 2.5L C2 Hard Blend concentrate (Dilutes 50/50 with water to make 5L of ready-to-use densifier)
  • 1L C2 Ultraseal lithium sealer
  • 5L Pyrafix liquid grout
